Paris is a Manager in the Climate Change and Sustainability Services team of EY Cyprus. He joined EY in 2022, having worked in the U.K. for over 10 years where he managed and led a suite of engagements and projects to support decarbonization and the wider clean energy transition. Paris specializes in a range of decarbonization and wider energy topics including distribution networks, smart grids, flexibility services, low carbon technologies (including renewable energy sources, battery storage, heat pumps and electric vehicles), energy using product policy and energy efficiency. He led technical design, policy and strategy work, technoeconomic analysis, change management initiatives and industry wide stakeholder engagement to support public and private clean energy transition projects in Cyprus, the U.K. and developing countries. Paris is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Engineering Council (UK) and holds an MBA, an MSc and a BEng in engineering subjects. Paris is also a member of the Scientific and Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK), a PRINCE2 Practitioner and is IOSH certified.
