Dr. Alexis Polycarpou is a Chartered Engineer of the IET. He received his PhD in Electrical Power Systems from the University of the West of England in Bristol, UK. He worked as an International R&D Engineer for Siemens AG, Amberg, Germany, and he is currently an Associate Professor and Erasmus Coordinator at the Department of Electrical, Computer Engineering and Informatics of Frederick University, Cyprus.
